One of our friends referred us to Abel Soria Photography (Special Memories). He had shot the weddings for several of their friends and everybody said he was a great photographer, professional, and a genuinely nice guy. We found all of that, and more, to be true on our first meeting with Abel: he showed us books from some of the other weddings he’d done and asked questions to get to know us. We were both impressed by his beautiful, straightforward style.
On the day of our wedding, things were running behind. Abel handled the whole situation with grace and, though our original time schedule went immediately out the window, he was totally flexible and got some amazing pre-wedding photos nevertheless. I didn’t even realize he was there throughout the entire ceremony, but couldn’t believe the wonderful pictures he got when I saw the proofs. Abel truly was an unobtrusive “fly on the wall” who got beautiful shots of our ceremony without distracting any of the guests or us. The same was true for our reception – we all ate, dance, toasted, cut the cake, etc. while Abel snapped away and none of us realized.
For the “posed” pictures we did following the ceremony, Abel was able to quickly and efficiently capture all of the group shots we had requested (we wanted to hurry up and party!).
I am so happy that we used Abel Soria Photography; we have a huge collection of gorgeous wedding photos that will be with us all of our lives, and the whole experience of working with Abel was a pleasure from start to finish.
