Abel photographed our September 2013 wedding. Abel was the first (and only) photographer that we met with. We had talked to some photographers at wedding fairs but they projected a salesman-like feel, rather than a photographer who was really interested in his clients. When we met with Abel we clicked (no pun intended!) instantly! He was very personable and we could tell that he really wanted to get to know us and our personalities. Abel was not just “a salesman”. He even patiently answered my long spreadsheet of vendor questions (seriously!).
He showed us many of his photography styles (all amazing!) and helped us to pin point what we liked and didn’t like. With myself having 2 young children from a previous marriage, we let him know that catching the true essence of the kids was very important to us. He completely understood. After spending a good deal of time talking to and getting to know Abel at our first appointment, my then fiance was so impressed he was ready to sign a contract right then! I was also very impressed. However I’m the type of person that has to explore all options before making a decision…especially something as important as your wedding photographer. On the drive home we talked about interviewing other photographers and recalled the ones we saw at the wedding fairs. With that in mind and discussing the meeting we had just had and the feeling that we both got about Abel, I decided that I did not need to interview anyone else. I was sure Abel would be a perfect fit for us and our wedding. And he was! Not only did he take amazing engagement photos, he did a fantastic job at our wedding! He captured our live butterfly release perfectly! For posed photos he guided us as to what would look best and where. But for the most part we didn’t even know he was there! A few weeks later we were thrilled when we saw the finished photos! We are so looking forward to seeing our wedding album!
