After interviewing photographers as far as Sacramento, I decided to go with Abel Soria. I was having a very traditional wedding and so I wanted traditional photographs. Abel was able to accommodate every one of my requests and then some. The church I was married in is very dark, but Abel was able to work his magic and the church photos came out lovely. During the reception he was able to capture the moment exactly how I imagined my reception to be. I can say nothing negative about Abel Soria, his personality and his photography. I loved his work so much that I referred my brother to him when he got married. My brother’s photos came out beautiful too, but that is what one would except from a true professional photographer. I will always recommend Abel Soria Photography to anyone who is in need of photography services.

Abel has become what I like to call “our personal photographer” because he has captured all of the important events of our lives thus far: our engagement, the wedding day, two pregnancies, and a super fun family session! We share lots of great and fun memories with Abel and highly recommend him to friends and family. We truly are fortunate to have him capture all of our special moments!

Abel got through the shots quickly (the weather was HOT HOT HOT!!!). He has a knack for getting people together quickly, getting shots done and is a ninja with the candid shots. He got all the shots I was hoping for and more. I am very happy with Abel’s photography. I highly recommend him for any event, not just weddings.

Abel Soria is such a gem in the wedding photography world. I felt an instant rapport with him during our first meeting. We looked through photos that I liked and he asked me what it was that I liked about each one, which gave him a great vision of what I wanted our own photos to look like.
His prices are extremely reasonable and he was wonderful to work with, he was happy to work with us with our last minute Wedding Date change. Wedding photography is his passion and on our big day, he was having as much fun as we were.

Abel was professional from the start, but was not afraid to show his fun side and interact with us on a comfortable level…with all the stress that comes when planning a wedding, Abel was able to make the photography a fun process that I really didn’t need to worry about. He took the time to get to know us, as individuals and as a couple, he gave us ideas and support when we needed it, while allowing us the freedom to be creative and share our thoughts with him as well.

While planning our wedding we were very nervous that we would not find a photographer that would capture the moments of our special day just the way we wanted. Abel Soria was the very first photographer we met with and we knew within a few moments of meeting him that he would be the perfect one! He was so kind and made us feel like we wouldn’t have to worry about anything. He knew exactly how we wanted our photos and was so easy to work with on everything.

On the day of our wedding he was there exactly when he said he would be and we didn’t have to worry about anything, just as he had promised. He even reminded us about the time and that we would need to move things along so that we could get the pictures we wanted before the ceremony started. Abel was the most professional and caring photographer that we had ever seen at any wedding. Most of the time we barely even noticed him! Yet, looking at our pictures now it’s hard to believe that. He got the most beautiful shots and the most memorable moments and we are so lucky to have them to look at any time we want.

I cannot say enough nice things about Abel and his photography. We both felt like finding the perfect photographer was the most important job in the whole pre-wedding process. After all, feeling comfortable with the photographer makes a huge difference in the pictures, and the pictures are what you will have to remember “your” day throughout the years, right?
By the time we found Abel, we had interviewed 4 photographers, but immediately agreed that we liked Abel the best. Instantly, our conversation was comfortable and my (now) husband and I both got a great feeling about him. Not to mention, we LOVED his work! We met Abel at his house and he talked to us about the different packages he offered, as well as, showed us the different types of albums and prints he can do. We liked some of the photographers we had met before him, but I really liked how Abel asked us a lot of questions. Instead of just talking about his experience and style, etc. He took the time to ask us what we were looking for and he even had us point out things that we liked and did not like in some pictures he had. You will leave feeling confident in his abilities and comfortable enough to be honest with him about your preferences.
